SS4000 “Aluzine Clear” Epoxy Resin and Hardener

Our Highest Quality Surfboard Epoxy Resin. A low viscosity water clear, ultra violet inhibited with Optical Brightener, epoxy resin system. SS 4000 is designed for manufacturing surfboards and high strength light weight composites using fiberglass, aramid or carbon fibers. Can be used on most surfaces including wood, metal, fiberglass, polystyrene, polyurethane and EPS foams and some plastics. Mixing ratio is 2 parts resin (Part A) to 1 part hardener (Part B). Comes with either SLOW or FAST hardener.
SLOW:
* Pot Life - approximately 30 minutes at 75°F.
* Tack free in 6 hours at 75°F
* Sandable in 10 hours
* Full cure in 7 days at 75°F
FAST:
* Pot Life - approximately 10 minutes at 75°F.
* Tack free in 1 hours at 75°F
* Sandable in 3 hours
* Full cure in 5 days at 75°F
